Professor Mohammad Zafar currently serving as Chairperson and Professor at Jinnah University for Women and DOW university of Health Sciences respectively. He is internationally qualified in English for Specific Purposes expert\/consultant with an excellent track record for running ESP programs in leading universities of Pakistan and Tajikistan. He has generated substantial revenue for organizations by leading business English programs\/consultancies for corporate clients. Moreover, he is actively engaged in national and international conferences: as Plenary speaker, Featured speaker and Panel Moderator.<\/p>\n

Prof. Abbas Hussain<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Prof. Abbas Hussain is a\u00a0Pakistani\u00a0scholar who has directed the Teachers' Development Centre\u00a0since 1997. He is one of the founders of the\u00a0Society of Pakistan English Language Teachers\u00a0(SPELT)\u00a0and has published in national and international journals.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Rafique Ahmed Memon<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Professor Dr. Rafique Ahmed Memon is currently serving as the Director (second time) of the Institute of English Language and Literature, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. He completed\u00a0 both Ph.D. (2006) and Masters (1995) in TESOL from the University of Leeds, England. Dr. Memon has served in different parts of the world i.e. Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, England and Pakistan.\u00a0 His main interests are Teaching Reading, Task Based Language Learning and Teacher Training. Dr. Memon possesses academic and professional experience (teaching, academic planning and management, evaluation and review, educational research and consultancy), which <\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>spans over two and a half decades <\/strong>with twelve years post Ph.D<\/strong>. experience.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Tariq Umrani<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Prof. Dr. Tariq Umrani completed his Ph.D (Applied Linguistics) in 2016 from Swansea University, Wales, Uk. He is currently serving at IELL University of Sindh. His areas of interest are Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), Bilingual Education, Second Language Acquisition (SLA), Intercultural Communication, Learners\u2019 Individual Differences, Language Learning Strategies, Language Policy and Planning.<\/p>\n

Dr. Tafseer Ahmed Khan<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Dr. Tafseer Ahmed got his PhD from University Konstanz, Germany in 2009. He has been involved in teaching and research for more than 17 years in various institutes including University of Karachi, FAST NUCES Lahore, University of Konstanz and DHA Suffa University. He is working on computational linguistics, text mining and machine learning. His goal is the development of solutions for Pakistani languages. He was publication chair of 4th Conference of Language and Technology 2012, program chair of 5th Conference of Language and Technology 2014 and publication chair of 3rd International Conference of Linguistic Association of Pakistan, 2017. Dr. Tafseer Ahmed has done his post-doctoral work on Computational Grammar of Urdu from University of Konstanz. He has worked on Urdu Propbank for University of Colorado, Boulder.<\/p>\n

Dr.Liaquat Ali Channa<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Dr.Liaquat Ali Channa got his Ph.D. degree from University of Gerogia, USA and at present time he is currently serving at buitems, Quetta. His research interest is mainly in the field of Educational Linguistics, Language Policy and Planning, Second language teaching and learning, Bilingual Education, and English as a medium of instruction.<\/p>\n

Dr. Fatima Rehan Dar<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Dr. Fatima Rehan Dar has earned her PhD from the School of Education and Cognitive Sciences, Asia e University, Malaysia. She also has an MA in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University, USA and an MA in English from Government College University, Lahore. She has experience of education, monitoring and evaluation over 23 years. Presently, she works as Director, Curriculum and Professional Development & Centre for English Language at Iqra University, Karachi.<\/p>\n

Dr. Fatima Dar has served as a Teacher Educator, consultant and faculty with various organizations including Ali Institute of Education, Lahore, Lahore Grammar School, Society for the Advancement of Higher Education (SAHE), FAST, Aga Khan University, Karachi, Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, Virtual University, Lahore, IoBM, Karachi and as Head of Education Department, SZABIST, Karachi. She has also worked on a number of education projects in the development sector. She has also been a visiting tutor at the Institute of Education, University of London and University of Warwick and was awarded the Charles Wallace Trust visiting fellowship for the year 2000 to the Institute of Education, University of London. She has also presented papers on aspects of teacher education and English Education both nationally and internationally. Her publications, national and international, also discuss the current issues and aspects of English language education and teacher education.<\/p>\n

Dr. Bushra Khurrum<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Dr. Bushra Ahmed-Khurram teaches applied linguistics at the Department of English, University of Karachi, Pakistan. She is working closely with Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan to develop an \u2018English Language Teaching Reforms Project\u2019 for the teachers of public sector universities of Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Dr. Bushra have had extensive experience of training English language teachers in a variety of settings in Pakistan and UK. She has published two books and many articles, research papers and book chapters.
